8th Annual Heartland Storytelling Festival
May 4 & 5, 2006 from the Homestead National Monument of America
WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN US FOR THIS SPECIAL EVENT!
The stories will relate to the pioneer experience during the Homesteading Era.
Storytelling sessions will be held at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Each session lasts 45 minutes, with time for questions and answers
after the presentation. These sessions are also available
for your students via your SNDLC Distance Learning system.
An evening session begins at 7:00 p.m. under the Event Tent
at the
Homestead National Monument of America.
The monument is located 4 miles west of Beatrice on State Highway 4.
