SNDLC provides a full-time trainer and curriculum specialist to support teachers who use the distance learning system, whether for course delivery, as an enrichment tool, or for school nursing services.

Teachers and staff may request any of the following support options. Please contact Duveen Penner at 402-223-5277 or email dpenner@esu5.org.

ANYTIME EQUIPMENT QUESTIONS

This option is conducted over the distance learning system itself. Ten minutes is plenty of time to connect with the SNDLC trainer for a quick refresher on any aspect of equipment operation.

FIRST-TIMER SUPPORT

If it's your first time doing an enrichment activity or using the equipment in the static classroom with your students, invite the SNDLC trainer to sit in on your class, either literally or virtually.

OBSERVATION & CONFERENCE

Distance learning instructors are welcome to ask the trainer to schedule a a classroom observation.

An observation is NOT an evaluation; it is a springboard to discussion in such areas as optimum room arrangement, audio levels, student interaction and/or behavior, lesson sequencing, demonstration of successful strategies, etc.
