"Park Ranger Amy Garrett, from Homestead National Monument of America, Beatrice, Nebraska, received the Freeman Tilden Award for her creative and innovative distance-learning program that connects students in the classrooms with park rangers in real-time, spontaneous interaction via fiber optics.
