WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
OUR SCHOOL HAS BOTH A STATIC CLASSROOM AND A CART

The
upgrade will occur automatically in your static classroom.
You do not need to do anything more in the classroom at
this time.
Follow
the directions below for receiving the upgrade on your distance
learning cart.

- Plug
the data cable into Port 5 of the Galaxy/DFS switch. If you
need help with that process, call the Galaxy/DFS Maintenance
Hotline at 1-888-443-3822.
- Power
up the cart.
- Once
the startup procedure is completed, please check your system
by connecting to the DFS office in York (listed on the Contact
List in the Call Manager window).
- If
you are able to connect, you are finished. Turn off the monitor,
but leave the cart connected and the CPUs on.
- If
you are unable to connect, call Galaxy/DFS at 1-888-443-3822
to determine why you are unable to connect.
You
will know that the upgrade has been done at your site if you can
open the Contact List and find the Enrichment folder.
If you are unable to find that folder, the
update hasn't occurred at your site and you need to keep your Distance
Learning system powered up.
